Logie Baird was a Scottish inventor widely credited with creating the worlds first electro-mechanical television transmission apparatus.
Baird's electro-mechanical system consisted of a rotating disc with a spiral of holes. Now, thanks to the inventive minds at MadLab, you can build this modern version of Bairds electro-mechanical TV apparatus that demonstrates the principle behind the very first television invented by John Logie Baird in the 1920's.
