The factory assembled PEM300D Photoelectric Beam Sensor makes an ideal IR (infrared) light beam crossing detector for use as part of a
security system for your home or business, and provides a threshold crossing detector over a long range. The PEM300D sensors are ideal for warehouse dock bay door security, entry
detection, and other security sensor and intrusion alarm applications.
With a photo detection range of up to 100 feet (30m) outdoors, or up to 200 feet (60m) indoors, Photoelectric Beam Sensor PEM300D is
triggered by the breaking of a twin IR photo beam. Red laser beams emitted from the transmitter and receiver units are used for precise alignment of the distant units during installation,
then turned off. Once the units are aligned and operational, the invisible IR photoelectric beam detects the passing of a car, person, or object passing through it.
The receiver unit contains a relay with two dry contacts. One relay contact is normally open (NO) while the other is normally closed (NC).
These contacts are accessed by a terminal block on the units for connection to your security system control panel, or can activate a siren, bell, or other devices as you may desire.
The PEM300D Photoelectric Beam Sensor has many possible security uses, and is factory pre-assembled and tested. Just install and align
the sensors.
