Toroidal Power Transformer TR8040 is the recommended power transformer for our Velleman 200 watt audio amplifier module VM100. Toroid wound power transformers have many other power supply applications. Toroidal power transformer can be wired for either 120Vac or 230Vac on the input winding, and it provides dual secondary winding voltage outputs of 25Vac at 2A each! Toroidal power transformers are ideal to power high end audio applications because their inherently low leakage of magnetic fields prevents the introduction of AC hum into the audio.
