Molded ABS Electronic Enclosure
This project box is recommended by Velleman as the appropriate enclosure for the popular stepper motor controller card electronic kit K8005.
The lid and base portions of this project box are equipped with a tongue and groove sealing system and a neoprene gasket. The mounting holes and the lid-fixing screws are outside the sealed area, which prevents moisture and dust from entering the enclosure. Internal card guide slots allow the vertical mounting option of PCB assemblies. The bosses on the internal base of the project box allow for the horizontal fixing of PCB's or the connection of terminals, strain relief, etc. with threaded brass inserts.
Some customization or cutting and drilling may be required for an ideal fit with the stepper motor kit. (for example: custom openings for the onboard connector or wires may be desired). Makes a good general purpose enclosure for many other handheld instrument projects.
