Satellite Finder ANTSF1N is a precision signal strength meter used to point your satellite dish directly at a satellite, without the need to see your TV.

For professional or do it yourself satellite dish installers, or anyone needing to do a periodic alignment of a satellite dish, the satellite finder is the perfect tool. If you have a dish on an apartment balcony, or your permanent roof dish was pushed by the wind, you know how frustrating it can be to align a satellite dish without being able to see the dish alignment signal on the TV.

How To Aim Satellite Dish

•First connect the Satellite Finder between the LNB and the satellite receiver.  •Turn on the receiver. You'll hear a beep and see the backlight light up.  •Point the dish to the approximate azimuth direction (left or right).  •Adjust the dish elevation angle (up or down).  •Adjust the LNBF tilt angle (if adjustable).

•Adjust the sensitivity of the satellite finder by turning the knob until the needle is near 5 (mid point).  •Move the dish slowly in the azimuth direction. When the signal strength meter reaches its highest point, stop moving the dish.  If the needle reaches the maximum reading, lower the sensitivity until the needle is back to 5.  •Adjust the dish again until the needle won't go highter.  •Now adjust the satellite dish elevation angle and follow the same steps as above (adjust sensitivity if necessary).
