Trickle Charger with Solar Cells
This solar cell trickle charger helps to avoid battery drain for 12V batteries in cars, boats, tractors, etc. When batteries are left to go flat, they may be seriously damaged and may never regain their full power. Solar powered trickle charger SOL5N will use sunlight to keep your battery charged.
As long as there is sufficient sunlight, the charger will produce a small electrical current to trickle charge the battery. The charger will not overcharge or damage the battery. Similarly, a blocking diode ensures that the charger cannot flatten the battery.
Note: the SOL5N is designed to trickle charge batteries to compensate for natural drainage. It is not intended to recharge a fully discharged battery.
