Hypoallergenic Anti-Static Wrist Straps
Electro-static discharge (ESD) can cause damage to sensitive electronics. To prevent this, assemblers and repair technicians must
be properly grounded. This hypoallergenic anti-static wrist strap will help you do the job right.
The AWS2 wrist strap is knitted with a highly conductive yarn. The strap fabric is highly elastic, yet an adjustable locking buckle makes
it fully sizeable through the complete length of the strap, so it can always be tightened or loosened as needed. This is the anti-static wrist strap that comfortably fits
any wrist size.
The buckle material is made of POM, a highly machineable and stable plastic material historically used in surgical implants. The
(usually steel) back plate has been eliminated for wearers who have skin sensitive to metals. The inside surface area of the conductive yarn strap is relied upon for excellent
conductance on the wrist, reducing the opportunity for allergic reaction.
This AWS2 hypoallergenic anti-static wrist strap has a 7mm male snap to fit most common ground cords. A ground cord with a matching 7mm female snap is
required for this wrist strap to function.
